On September 29, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, met the Speaker of the Finnish Parliament, Jussi Halla-Aho, within the framework of the European Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of the Council of Europe.
Congratulations on his colleague's election to Speaker of the Parliament of Finland. Alen Simonyan noted that contacts between legislative bodies will be intensified, contributing to practical cooperation on bilateral and international platforms. The parties agreed that interparliamentary collaboration is vital in promoting interstate relations.

The discussion is about the ongoing information wars caused by the situation in the region and the spread of fake footage and misinformation by Azerbaijan on social networks and at the request of a colleague, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia referred to the process of ratification of the Rome Statute by Armenia.
