The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Canada discussed issues of regional security and stability

On September 27, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan spoke with Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie. Regional security and stability issues were discussed during the phone conversation.
The RA Foreign Minister presented the consequences of the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the people of Nagorno Karabakh on September 19, following the blocking of the Lachin Corridor for more than 9 months.
Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that Azerbaijan is implementing its planned policy of ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh, which, along with the approach of using force, should receive a clear international assessment.
Thoughts were also exchanged on issues on the Armenian-Canadian bilateral agenda.
