Albert Bazeyan was detained

Albert Bazeyan, the former vice-chairman of the YVU and the former mayor of Yerevan, was arrested. Lawyer Georgi Melikyan announced this on his Facebook page.

Melikyan noted that the court satisfied the request of the investigators regarding Bazeyan's detention as a preventive measure.

It should be noted that earlier, the NSS reported that on September 23, Bazeyan and 7 other members of the military-patriotic organization "Crusaders" were arrested for attempting to seize power.
