Armenia has never agreed to any extraterritorial or corridor logic and will never agree. Buy Sanosyan

Armenia has never agreed and will never agree to any extraterritorial or corridor logic. Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan emphasized this while answering the question of "Armenpress."

- Mr. Sanosyan, Turkish, and Azerbaijani officials have recently started talking about the "Zangezur Corridor" more often. How would you interpret this, and has RA's position changed after the recent events?

- Armenia has never agreed to any extraterritorial or corridor logic and will never agree. On the other hand, we are committed to the agreements reached at a high level. At the last meeting of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, which took place on July 15 of this year in Brussels, the following agreements were reaffirmed:

Armenia and Azerbaijan recognize each other's territorial integrity, with an area of 29.8 and 86.6 thousand square kilometers, respectively.

The delimitation of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan will occur based on the 1991 Almaty Declaration.

Regional communications should be unblocked based on sovereignty, jurisdiction, and reciprocity among the parties.

These agreements are public and were announced by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, at the end of the meeting. Within the framework of this arrangement, the Republic of Armenia is not only ready for the unblocking of communications but also wants it to happen as quickly as possible because it is in our interests.
