On September 24, RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan met with Indian Foreign Minister Subramanyam Jaishankar in New York. Issues related to security and stability in the South Caucasus were discussed.
Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized that the continuous aggression of Azerbaijan, the large-scale military attack against the people of Nagorno Karabakh on September 19, which was preceded by the 9-month blockade of the Lachin Corridor and the complete blocking of Nagorno-Karabakh, emphasized the importance of concrete actions by international partners.
The necessity of curbing steps aimed at destabilizing the region was emphasized. Reference was made to the bilateral agenda between Armenia and India.
