The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, sent a message on RA Independence Day.

"Dear compatriots, today we celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, living through one of the most difficult periods in our history. Our country faces severe challenges that we must overcome today. We must continue to move forward firmly, united, principled, and full of faith, keep strengthening our statehood, independence, and security, and finally let our children inherit a free, independent, peaceful Armenia.
As we have proven many times, we can do the impossible when we are united. Now, we will succeed. With our faith in our forces, our principles, our unity, and our love for the Republic of Armenia, we will pass this too.
We have been going through terrible blows recently, and our people and statehood are standing. Paying an inhumanly high price every day, we move forward together again and again, fighting for our country, people, and future. Does not everything we have seen in these years and what we are experiencing now tell us that we, each of us and all of us together, have a mission, and this is not an accident? Yes, all this is not accidental and cannot be. This is our mission.
Despite all disasters, we must continue our mission: to create a future for our eternal people, our state, and statehood. I see it. I know it
I believe it.
Therefore, today, on the 32nd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, we must be firm, conscious, and united, believe in the Armenian man, the wisdom of the Armenian man, and ourselves and our strengths. Let's move forward decisively and confidently together to strengthen our independence and sovereignty for the sake of the Armenian people, the Republic of Armenia, and our children.
