"The UN and its agencies must take steps." Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia
On September 19, within the framework of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan met with the head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Martin Griffiths.
Ararat Mirzoyan presented the details of the large-scale aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh on the morning of the same day, noting that Azerbaijan is targeting civilian objects and there are already victims among the civilian population.
The head of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the urgency of explicit messages and steps by the UN and its agencies to prevent mass crimes by Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh. The importance of providing humanitarian access to Nagorno-Karabakh was also emphasized.
