On September 19, within the framework of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Foreign Minister of North Macedonia Buyar Osmani.
The focus of the meeting was on the most serious security and humanitarian issues that emerged due to the large-scale aggression carried out by Azerbaijan against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh since September 19.
Minister Mirzoyan noted that Azerbaijan, guided by impunity, perceives the lack of deterrent measures by international structures as permissiveness and seeks to achieve ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh through open force.
Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of the urgent launch of relevant OSCE mechanisms.
