Yerevan has sent a proposal to Moscow regarding the ratification of the Rome Statute. Edmon Marukyan, RA ambassador with special assignments, said this in an interview with TASS.

According to him, a meeting took place, and the process continues.

"It is clear that the Rome Statute is ratified not against the Russian Federation but because of the war crimes committed by the Azerbaijani side on the territory of the Republic of Armenia. Our Russian partners are well aware of that. Those cases should become the subject of international criminal prosecution," said Marukyan.
