Today, there are regular elections of the Yerevan Council of Elders by proportional electoral system.
475 precincts were formed to conduct the elections.
At 8:00 a.m., all 475 electoral precincts formed for the elections were opened according to the procedure established by the RA Electoral Code, and the first voters were accepted. 1362 technical devices are used for electronic voter registration.
To observe the elections, the joint observation missions "Witness," "Independent Observer" and "Hayakve" were accredited.
40 local mass media were accredited to cover the elections and voting.
2 international observation missions and 3 foreign mass media were also accredited to observe the elections.
The number of voters in the Yerevan community is 824,250.
The number of voting participants in the elections, according to districts, will be published on the website of the Central Electoral Commission, www.elections.am, in three-hour intervals starting from noon today and will also be broadcast on both Public Television and CEC social platforms.
