Makunts discussed issues related to the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan with the US congressman

On September 13, RA Ambassador to the USA Lilit Makunts met with Congressman French Hill (Arkansas, Republican). As reported by the RA Embassy in the USA, during the meeting, the ambassador presented to the congressman the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of the blockade of the Lachin Corridor, the obstacles to humanitarian assistance to Nagorno-Karabakh and emphasized the need for immediate assistance.
The parties also discussed issues related to the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The ambassador emphasized the imperative of ensuring the territorial integrity and sovereignty of RA and addressing and ensuring the rights and security of the population of Nagorno-Karabakh.
