"We started a strategic dialogue with the USA long ago." Pashinyan

We do not need to build bridges with the West because those bridges have always been in place, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with "Politico Europe" magazine.

He noted that we started a strategic dialogue with the US long ago; military exercises have taken place before.

"We are fully transparent regarding our relations with Russia and the CSTO. The RA state interests guide us. Armenia is a country with severe security problems, but we see the addressing of security problems by strengthening sovereignty and independence," Pashinyan noted.

According to the Prime Minister, the model that we will have problems with neighbors, we will invite others to protect us, it does not matter who they are, it is a vulnerable model.

"Those others may not be able to help even if they want to, so our strategy is to try to reduce this situation or the level of dependence on the need for foreign aid as much as possible," said the Prime Minister.
