RA MFA Spokesperson Ani Badalyan, in response to Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, who continues to use the term "Zangezur Corridor" in the public domain, noted that by point 9 of the tripartite statement of November 9, 2020 and the following information of January 11, 2021 no such corridor is planned, there is no corridor logic in the context of unblocking regional transport infrastructure.
"Armenia has repeatedly and at all levels declared and declares that it is not only willing, but also interested in the unblocking of economic and transport links in the region, and since the signing of the 2020 tripartite declaration, it has remained committed to the approach stipulated by that declaration, that it should be carried out within the sovereignty of countries. and under jurisdiction, based on the principles of equality and reciprocity," said the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry.
