Today, the issue of ratifying the agreement "On military-technical cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Czech Republic" was discussed in the National Assembly.
The agreement defines the directions of cooperation in the military-technical field, which include the process of production, import, export, licensing, quality control of military products, training of necessary specialists and technical personnel, providing support to organizations operating in the military-technical field, and relations related to the exchange and maintenance of information. : Deputy Minister of Defense Arman Sargsyan said this during the regular session of the sixth session of the eighth conference of the National Assembly held on September 11, during the presentation of the draft law "On Ratifying the Agreement on Military-Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Czech Republic."
According to the reporter, to implement the agreement's provisions, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and the Czech Republic will be the authorized bodies of the parties.
"The draft of the agreement was agreed with the interested state bodies, and the Supreme Court also recognized it as meeting the constitution's requirements," said the Deputy Minister of Defense and, asked to vote in favor of the draft law at an opportune moment.
Gurgen Melkonyan, a Standing Committee on Defense and Security Issues member, made a related report. He said the project was discussed in the relevant committee and received a positive conclusion.
