Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Canada's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia, Alison Marie LeClair (residence: Moscow), completing her diplomatic mission in our country.
The Prime Minister thanked the ambassador for contributing to developing Armenian-Canadian relations through her active activities. In particular, Nikol Pashinyan appreciated Canada's support in effectively implementing democratic reforms in our country. The Prime Minister highlighted the decision of the Canadian government to open an embassy in Armenia and expressed confidence that it will give a new impetus to the expansion and strengthening of relations between the two countries.
Alice Marie LeClair, in turn, thanked the Prime Minister and the RA government for their close cooperation, informing them that the embassy in Yerevan will be opened during the visit of Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie to Armenia, which is planned for October.
Prime Minister Pashinyan wished Ms. LeClair success in her future activities.
