The government will allocate around 8 billion 388 million drams (£17,380,800.0) to acquire a 5-storey building in the center of London. It is intended for the RA Embassy in Great Britain. The draft government decision is included in tomorrow's agenda.
According to the justifications, since 1992, the RA Embassy in the United Kingdom has been located in the building provided by the London Armenian House, which informed the embassy about the need to vacate the premises in 2024.
The RA embassy occupies two small rooms in this building, which has always significantly limited the embassy's work opportunities.
The building will be acquired by ownership. It has a historical and cultural registration, is located in one of the most presentable places in London, consists of 5 floors (with a basement - 6), and has a reception hall.
