Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received France's newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Olivier Decotini.
The Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Decotini on assuming the position and expressed his belief that his activities would contribute to further developing and strengthening the Armenian-French cooperation. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the unique relations between the two countries, adding that the RA government is interested in expanding cooperation in various fields.
Olivier Decotini noted that he will make every effort to contribute to the deepening of already strong Armenian-French ties. The interlocutors discussed issues related to economic cooperation between Armenia and France, the involvement of French companies in the Armenian market, and current investment programs.
Reference was made to the deepening humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh due to Azerbaijan's illegal blocking of the Lachin Corridor. The direct response of international partners to Azerbaijan's steps was highlighted. Thoughts were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
