"Plans are being developed to unilaterally open the Lachin Corridor." Prime Minister (VIDEO)

At the beginning of the government session, the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, referred to the blockade of the Lachin Corridor and the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.

"The only change in the situation is that through the "Red Cross" and the Russian peacekeeping force in NK, a certain movement of citizens in need of treatment and other citizens has started through the Lachin corridor," he said.

According to Pashinyan, at the same time, reliable information has arrived that plans are being developed to open the Lachin Corridor unilaterally, that is, to allow exit from Nagorno-Karabakh instead of preventing entry.

Nikol Pashinyan reminded that many residents of Nagorno-Karabakh in Armenia cannot return, "About 5,000 of them are here due to the closure of the Lachin Corridor since December last year, and another 30,000 due to non-fulfillment of point 7 of the tripartite statement of November 9, 2020. Let me remind you that point 7 of the tripartite statement of November 9, 2020, announces: "Internally displaced persons and refugees are returning to the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh and adjacent regions under the supervision of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees."

The non-fulfillment of this provision and other facts continuously prove that Azerbaijan's primary goal is to remove Armenians from Karabakh through the ethnic cleansing of Karabakh Armenians.
