"It is not the platforms that matter, but the working of the agreements reached." Minister of Foreign Affairs (VIDEO)

"Armenia is interested in any unbiased, objective, and neutral mediation, and we highly appreciate all the efforts being made based on these motives," Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated at the press conference with the Belgian Foreign Minister.

He says many important meetings are held through the mediation of EU President Charles Michel. "I had several meetings with my Azerbaijani colleague in Washington with the mediation of the American side, the State Department, said Blinken. We also have meetings in all these directions in Moscow and elsewhere," he said.

According to Ararat Mirzoyan, there is no difference between the platforms, and it is essential for the Armenian side that the agreements reached work. "Unfortunately, several times we have witnessed a situation where an agreement is reached during the meeting, but then, in reality, we do not see the agreement."

Mirzoyan noted that the public words of the Azerbaijani leadership regarding the recognition of the territorial integrity of Armenia have just been heard. "While we heard such words during closed meetings. And this is very worrying for us and may indicate that Azerbaijan has territorial ambitions towards Armenia," he said.

Mirzoyan also mentioned that the opposite process is happening in addition to not keeping the agreements. "While we are talking that addressing the rights and security of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh should be part of the settlement, and without it, it is unrealistic to expect a long and stable peace in the South Caucasus, in reality, we see the siege of an entire people through the illegal blocking of the Lachin Corridor."
