Ararat Mirzoyan presented the expectations from the UN Security Council
The current humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh can significantly worsen the prospects of peace in the entire South Caucasus region, as well as the UN Security Council, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated.
According to him, despite all the appeals, the situation has not only not improved, but Azerbaijan has gradually and consistently aggravated the situation, up to a complete siege of NK.
"We expect the UN Council to condemn the use of starvation as a method of war against civilians, to demand the fulfillment of demands under international law, to restore the freedom and safety of movement through the Lachine Corridor, to ensure full cooperation with the ICRC and the provision of humanitarian aid, to send an independent interagency mission to assess the needs of Nagorno-Karabakh Mirzoyan noted.
