Armen Grigoryan received representatives of the staff of the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations

On August 9, Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Armenian Council of State, received representatives of the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations staff with Sara Arkin and Damian Murphy.

The Secretary of the Security Council welcomed the visit of the members of the commission to Armenia and emphasized such mutual visits.

At the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the regional and extra-regional security situation. A. Grigoryan presented to the interlocutors the humanitarian crisis created in Nagorno Karabakh as a result of the blocking of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan, the position of the Armenian side regarding the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, and the process of the territory of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.

The parties also discussed several issues of the Armenian-American bilateral agenda.
