Azerbaijan obstructs the entry of humanitarian goods to Lachin Corridor and Nagorno-Karabakh; The Prime Minister (VIDEO)

In the conditions of the humanitarian crisis, according to the decision of the management group to support the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, 361 tons of humanitarian aid were sent to Nagorno-Karabakh in 19 trucks yesterday. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced at the start of the Government session today that humanitarian aid has reached the Kornidzor part of the Syunik region, the entrance part of the Lachin Corridor.

"We have requested that the representatives of the Russian peacekeeping troops stationed in Nagorno-Karabakh accept the cargo and transport it to Nagorno-Karabakh, where a humanitarian crisis has been established as a result of the illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor for 8 months. However, Azerbaijan prevents the entry of humanitarian goods into the Lachin Corridor and Nagorno-Karabakh. This practice is incomprehensible and unacceptable. Azerbaijan's reason for illegally blocking the Lachin Corridor was that Armenia uses the corridor for military purposes," the Prime Minister said, considering this claim absurd.

According to Nikol Pashinyan, that claim was used as an excuse for the illegal blocking of the Lachin Corridor. "The contents of 19 trucks sent to Nagorno-Karabakh yesterday are as follows. Flour: 100 tons, pasta: 80 tons; sugar: 60 tons; vegetable oil: 40 tons; milk powder: 40 tons; salt: 20 tons; baby food: 12 tons; medicine: 9 tons.
