"The EU supports the provocation of the Armenian side." MFA of Azerbaijan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan also reacted to sending of humanitarian aid from Yerevan to Artsakh, describing it as a "provocation."

"Unable to digest the existence of the Lachin border checkpoint created by Azerbaijan to control the borders and prevent Armenian provocations, the Armenian side, without the consent of our country, sends convoys under the name of "humanitarian cargo," which is an encroachment on the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan and another provocation at the Lachin border against the checkpoint," the statement said.

It is noted that the Armenian side took such a step immediately after the negotiations in Moscow, where, among other issues, the current situation was discussed in detail.

"Even though the Azerbaijani side presented a number of proposals, including the use of the Aghdam-Stepanakert road and other alternative ways to meet the needs of Armenian residents, and these proposals were supported by the European Union, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Armenian side opposed all suggestions, "the statement said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan also blames the EU mission and diplomatic corps in Armenia for "participating in provocation" with Armenia, declaring that this is a pre-planned move.
