During his working visit to the Republic of Italy, the President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan, met with the representatives of the Armenian community of Rome at the Levonian Academy.
During the meeting, in a direct atmosphere, President Khachaturyan referred to the general internal and external situation of Armenia, regional problems, and the principles the Armenian authorities adopted to solve them.
The President emphasized that currently, Armenia has a clear position on the issues of achieving peace in our region and establishing friendly relations with its neighbors.
The President of the Republic also referred to the reforms carried out in recent years in various spheres of the country's internal life, particularly economic life. Vahagn Khachaturyan stressed that the current government is guided by the principles of making the Armenian economic environment more flexible and attractive for investments and is taking necessary steps.
Within the framework of the meeting with the community representatives, the President of the Republic awarded the Medal of Gratitude to Leticia Leonardi and Talal Khrais for their services to Armenia and the Armenian people.
