A series of statements of Nikol Pashinyan with points

RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's press conference continues at Baghramyan 26. Radar Armenia presents several Pashinyan statements with bullet points.

  • The signing of the peace treaty with Azerbaijan and the regulation of relations with Turkey is necessary, with the understanding that our relations with Iran and Georgia are developing typically and should continue to develop.

  • The rights and security of the NK people should be discussed with the participation of the representatives of the NK people in the Baku-Stepanakert dialogue format within the framework of the international mechanism.

  • Throughout our state's existence, we have acted in an aggressive logic, which is our biggest problem in all respects.

  • I did not discuss bringing aid to Stepanakert through Aghdam because I do not have any mandate to discuss such a question. I have an order regarding the Lachin Corridor because it was created by a tripartite declaration of which I am one of the signatories.

  • I expect from the RA Foreign Minister and my other colleagues that they will be able to agree on a few more articles of a possible Peace Treaty and reach some solution regarding the opening of the Lachin Corridor.

  • Appealing to the UN Security Council is in our toolbox. We are also working in that direction; we are in contact with the member states of the UN Security Council and are in the process of discussion.

  • RA is discussing the issue of creating opportunities for NK Armenians to live in their own homes, in their own country.

  • The deployment of the Russian peacekeeping troops in Nagorno-Karabakh has a purpose. It is to prevent the mass slaughter of the population. If Russia decides to withdraw from Nagorno-Karabakh, it will mean that there is no such danger anymore.

  • We can say that the Russian Federation, the USA, the European Union, Armenia, and Azerbaijan must do such and such things; we must also formulate what Nagorno-Karabakh must do to overcome the created crisis. The NK authorities have work to do; we are ready to support them.

  • We need to get out of the logic that the world sleeps and wakes up thinking about how to solve the NK issue. It is our problem, and we must find ways to solve it; first of all, we need it.

  • Based on reality, not wishes, do we agree that Armenia, like in the previous 30 years, in the next 10-15-30 years, should live in a confrontation mode?

  • Let's record that after the 2020 war, we almost miraculously saved our state and statehood.

  • If someone says that Armenia should continue to live in an aggressive regime, they question the statehood, existence of the state, sovereignty, and independence of the Republic of Armenia.

  • The statements made in Nagorno-Karabakh, which exclude negotiations with Azerbaijan, need to be clarified.

  • There is an internal logical contradiction in what our oppositionists accuse me of. One time they accused me of handing over land, and the other times accused me of not handing it over. One neutralizes the other; that's also why I'm still the prime minister.

  • We have a government whose being elected by the people does not cause any doubt. The most crucial measure of unity is that.

  • Escalation can't be logically helpful in this situation. We should consider and discuss even the most acute issues outside escalation logic.
