The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly accepted all the proposals of the Armenian delegation

The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly accepted all the proposals of the Armenian delegation. Sargis Khandanyan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the RA National Assembly, Head of the Armenian Delegation to the OSCE PA, announced this on his Facebook page.

"The final document of the 2023 OSCE PA, the Vancouver Declaration, approved several essential provisions by voting.

Assembly:

- Calls on Azerbaijan to withdraw its armed forces from the sovereign territory of Armenia.

- Calls for the unimpeded passage of people and goods through the Lachine Corridor, by the decision of the International Court of Justice of February 22, 2023;

- Calls on Azerbaijan to form a positive agenda in close cooperation with the international community to guarantee the rights and security of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh.

- Calls for the release of all detained persons and to clarify the fate of all persons who disappeared during the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, to protect the cultural heritage of the region and to support the demining process,

- Encourages Armenia and Azerbaijan to continue negotiations toward signing a comprehensive peace agreement based on the recognition of each other's territorial integrity,

- Welcomes the diplomatic efforts of the United States and the European Union, which contribute to building dialogue and mutual trust between Armenia and Azerbaijan," he wrote.
