US and UK officials have expressed appreciation for Armenia's commitment to not allowing sanctions to be circumvented

Ambassador James O'Brien, head of the Sanctions Coordination Office of the United States Department of State, and Kumar Iyer, head of the Directorate General for Economy, Science and Technology of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth of Nations and Development of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, visited Armenia on June 29-30. to express their appreciation for the commitment shown by Armenia in preventing the circumvention of sanctions reports the US Embassy.
The visit of David O'Sullivan, the Special Representative of the European Union for the Implementation of Sanctions preceded their visit.
