On June 27-29, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held bilateral talks at the George Schultz National Foreign Affairs Training Center in Arlington, Virginia. In Washington, the Foreign Ministers met with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and the US President's National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.

Ministers and their teams continued to make progress on the draft bilateral agreement on "Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations." They agreed on several more articles of the draft agreement and recorded progress in mutual understanding while noting that positions on several key issues require further work.

The two ministers appreciated the American side for hosting the talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan and their commitment to continue the negotiations.
