"It is not a fact that Movses Hakobyan, who published that information, had the right to be in that bunker." Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this today at the session of the NA investigative committee, answering the question of why a person without a confidentiality permit, for example, Davit Galstyan, was in the command post, as well as his wife, Anna Hakobyan, while in Artsakh during those days, had contacts with Artsakh's political and with the military leadership.
"It is not a fact because, at that time, he was the head of the military control department of the Ministry of Defense and was not at his workplace under the conditions of martial law. Should this issue be investigated? Second: he was there," said Nikol Pashinyan, and then told how Movses Hakobyan, having left his workplace, decided to evacuate the 7th defense region of Nagorno-Karabakh without having the right to do so.
Referring to the issue related to the command post, the Prime Minister clarified that wearing a shoulder strap does not mean that you can be in all places. Speaking about Anna Hakobyan's stay there, Nikol Pashinyan said: when there is a war in Artsakh, he cannot stay idle in Yerevan, because there, in Stepanakert, people need help. "The symbolic meaning of my wife's presence there was that we also ensure our presence there. And at the same time, there was contact with the leadership of Nagorno-Karabakh, and an idea was raised that maybe it makes sense to go for 10 minutes so that the squad could see that the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia is in Stepanakert."
According to him, Anna Hakobyan was only at the command post for 10-15 minutes.
