"In October of last year, Armenia officially recognized the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and last month it even indicated the parameters of the territory of our country," Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said. According to him, these statements should also be on paper, and Armenia should sign them, "Only in that case, long-term peace can prevail in the South Caucasus," he said.
Aliyev emphasized that other necessary conditions are the opening of the Zangezur Corridor and the withdrawal of the Armenian Armed Forces from Karabakh.
"We are not in a hurry; it is unnecessary. Currently, force, time, and international law are on our side. The international community recognizes Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan. We can still wait," said Ilham Aliyev.
