The UAE Ambassador handed over his credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs

On June 21, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan was handed a copy of his credentials by the newly appointed Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Armenia, Dr. Nariman Mohammed Sharif Almulla.

The Deputy Minister congratulated Ambassador Almulla on his appointment and wished him fruitful work and success in fulfilling his essential mission. Vahan Kostanyan highly appreciated the current level of Armenian-Emirati friendly relations, expressing his belief that the ambassador will contribute to expanding the bilateral agenda.

The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest, particularly the prospects of implementing joint projects in several fields.

Reference was also made to several issues of the regional and international agenda. The Deputy Foreign Minister presented to Ambassador Almulla the positions of Armenia regarding establishing stability and peace in the South Caucasus; the situation was created due to Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor.
