Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to the upcoming meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers in Washington.
He said that specific progress recorded during the previous meeting in Washington would develop, "I also want to emphasize that, especially after Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed to recognize each other's territorial integrity, attempts to create tension in different sections along the border are unacceptable and incomprehensible," he said.
According to Pashinyan, now it is necessary to take the next step. Fix the basis of differentiation and start the actual boundary and demarcation works.
Speaking about the unblocking of transport and economic connections provided by the tripartite statement of November 9, 2020, he emphasized: Armenia is ready for this based on the principles of sovereignty, jurisdiction, reciprocity, and equality of countries, "Any logic of a corridor through the territory of Armenia is unacceptable. In this sense, I expect international partners to avoid using the provocative language of Azerbaijan."
