Ararat Mirzoyan presented the security situation of the region to the head of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation
On June 13, RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan received Stefan Malerius, head of the "Political Dialogue South Caucasus" regional program of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the close cooperation established with the foundation. They exchanged ideas on the strengthening of democratic institutions in Armenia, the progress made as a result of the reforms, and their continued support from the EU and member states.
The security situation in the region was discussed at the meeting. Minister Mirzoyan presented the latest developments related to the Nagorno Karabakh issue and the process of settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, as well as the vision of the Armenian side for the settlement of key issues and the achievement of comprehensive and lasting peace in the South Caucasus region. The importance of continuous involvement of international actors and active steps in that direction was emphasized.
