RA NA Speaker Alen Simonyan met with Speaker of the House of Lords Lord McFall in London. Ruben Rubinyan, Deputy Speaker of the RA National Assembly, also participated in the meeting.
They have referred to the 30-year achievements of establishing diplomatic relations and the future activities promoting bilateral ties. The interlocutors discussed the possibilities of deepening and expanding the sectoral cooperation and upcoming plans. The steps aimed at promoting the joint agenda were considered vital.
The parties emphasized developing and expanding bilateral cooperation and exchanged ideas on Armenian-British inter-parliamentary ties. In this context, the activation of cooperative work of friendly groups was noted.
