As a result of the meetings held in Yerevan within the framework of the first visit of the Argentine legislators to the Republic of Armenia, the Armenian and Argentinian legislators, being members of the respective friendship groups, express their desire to promote the works related to legislative, mainly parliamentary diplomacy, based on the following main provisions:
- Respect for human rights,
- Strengthening of democratic systems,
- peaceful settlement of international disputes,
- Aggression exclusion principle,
- International peace and security,
- Promotion of bilateral economic activity,
- Strengthening of cultural ties,
- Increasing the visibility of the Armenian community's actions aimed at solidarity in Argentina. For this purpose and in the matter of dispute resolution, once again acting from the positions of dialogue and diplomacy, they emphasize the importance of restoring free movement through the Lachine Corridor to avoid the deepening of the humanitarian crisis, as well as the early release of persons held as prisoners of war after the tragic military operations of 2020.
