"If the term "corridor" implies a special regime, we will not discuss it;" Mher Grigoryan (VIDEO)

RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan referred to the statements of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev about providing the "Zangezuri Corridor" in a briefing with journalists today.

Grigoryan said that Armenia's jurisdiction would be fully extended to the infrastructures, and based on that principle, the Armenian side is always ready for discussions and lifting the blockade. "In many cases, it was called a transport corridor, which is a term accepted in international practice, and in many cases, the term corridor was emphasized, I think, from the point of view of having a different attitude. We have always given our official position regarding the excluded second option. We are always ready to talk about transport communication. About corridors: if a special regime is assumed under that term, we will not discuss it," said Grigoryan.

As for the new meeting of the committee of deputy prime ministers on border demarcation, Grigoryan said that there has yet to be a new agreement.
