Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia Gnel Sanosyan addressed the issue of enclaves in the National Assembly, "There are various discussions and scenarios related to enclaves in the negotiations. As the process matures, legal documents will play an important role. There are legal grounds for any status of any territory. I think that the partners will see which territory has what legal basis," he said.
According to Sanosyan, both the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides have enclave territories, "After the war of the 1990s, especially in Tavush, we have the domains under Azerbaijan's control. All that will be considered in one general package."
As for the fact that in case of returning the disputed territories to Azerbaijan, state roads may come under the control of the enemy, Sanosyan noted that in all scenarios, solutions should be found, and, as happened in Syunik, in this case, they will think of ways out with alternative roads.
