On May 23, Ambassador Makunts met with Congresswoman Sarah Jacobs (California, Democrat). The issues related to RA-US bilateral relations, the peace process with Azerbaijan, US involvement, and the current situation in Artsakh were discussed during the meeting.
Touching upon issues of humanitarian nature, the ambassador handed over to the congressman the reports on the Armenian prisoners held illegally in Azerbaijan and the situation in Artsakh due to the blocking of the Lachin Corridor.
