"We have mutually recognized the existence of enclaves;" Prime Minister (VIDEO)

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the issue of enclaves in the National Assembly.

In response to the question of CP faction deputy Tsovinar Vardanyan, Pashinyan said that, fortunately or unfortunately, nothing has been decided, "The topic of enclaves has existed at the political level and for a long time. From the published documents, for example, in 1999, One of the document's articles on the exchange of territories is dedicated to the enclaves of Armenia and Azerbaijan."

According to Pashinyan, the issue has a political and legal side, "At the political level, there was the following conversation in Munich and Brussels: we mutually recognize the existence of enclaves, that is, that there is Artsvash, which belongs to Armenia, and enclaves in the territory of Armenia, which belong to Azerbaijan. At the political level, we recognize that, but I have said that at the legal level, there are additional questions related to at least some of them."

He says discussions are underway on this issue, and there is much room for flexibility.
