RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Paruyr Hovhannisyan referred to the statement of the President of the Council of Europe after the negotiations in Brussels that Armenia and Azerbaijan reaffirmed their commitment to recognizing each other's territorial integrity.
When asked whether the Azerbaijani troops will withdraw from the territory before signing any documents, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan said: "Of course, that idea was discussed by a number of our partners, not only by the European Union, but also by the United States, and already the recognition of these borders implies such withdrawal."
Andrea Victorin, the EU ambassador to Armenia, called Charles Michel's statement progressive, “All issues must be discussed at the negotiation table."
