Andrea Victorin, EU ambassador to RA, announced today that the rights and security of the population of Nagorno-Karabakh should be ensured.
"This has been emphasized several times, it is a subject of discussion between Stepanakert and official Baku, and it was emphasized not only during this meeting, it was mentioned in President Michel's message that the rights and security of the Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh should be guaranteed. I think this also implies additional steps in the near future. There is a perception that an international mechanism is needed. We have to work to form it and agree with all parties. Therefore, there is work to be done," he said.
