After the tripartite meeting in Brussels, the head of the CE, Charles Michel, announced that regarding communication issues, the parties made clear progress in their discussions aimed at unblocking transport and economic connections in the region.
"Positions on this topic are now very close to each other, particularly regarding the re-opening of railway connections to and through Nakhijevan. Their respective teams have been instructed to make a final agreement on the ways of opening the railway links and the necessary construction works along with the specific schedule," said the head of the CE.
According to him, they agreed to use the support of the World Customs Organization to support this work.
