The role of EU observers is to prepare reports. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs

RA Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan referred to the lack of reaction of EU observers to Azerbaijani provocations.

According to him, the EU observers could not even give any response to the Azerbaijani provocations. "Their role is to prepare reports for Brussels and EU member states. Their task is to visit all parts of the border regularly. I can mention that their presence is already an investment in improving the situation. It creates a psychologically safer atmosphere, and the mission fully fulfills its mandate."
