The Republic of Armenia and the Czech Republic note with satisfaction the steady development and expansion of political ties and express their unwavering commitment to continue to activate high-level political dialogue and economic cooperation both at the bilateral level and at the United Nations, Council of Europe, OSCE and other international and regional levels, Within organizations.

The parties express their willingness to strengthen and expand cooperation in the context of European Union initiatives, including the Eastern Partnership and the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), in particular the Armenia-EU political and security dialogue, as well as political, economic, and sectoral cooperation based on shared values and democracy. , on a solid commitment to human rights, media freedom, and the rule of law. The Czech Republic supports the EU's determination to expand cooperation with Armenia, appreciates Armenia's progress on the road to democracy and the principles of good governance, encourages further progress, and reaffirms its readiness to support Armenia on its reform path.

The parties emphasized the importance of democratic principles, human rights promotion and protection, and the rule of law.

The parties emphasize the sharing of transformation experiences and encouraging the cooperation of civil society members and the involvement of civil society in the reform process;

The parties emphasized the need for a peaceful and lasting settlement of all unresolved issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The Armenian side highly appreciates the European Union's continuous efforts to create a favorable environment for stable peace in the South Caucasus.

The parties consider deploying the European Union mission on the territory of Armenia along the international border between Armenia and Azerbaijan since February 20 as a significant contribution to strengthening regional security. Armenia welcomes and appreciates the Czech Republic's significant personnel contribution to the mission.

The parties recognize the importance of maintaining international peace and security, the inadmissibility of the threat or use of force, and respect for international humanitarian law.

The parties bear in mind the fundamental principles of the UN Charter that all states in their international relations should refrain from the threat or use of force against territorial integrity or political independence of any form and settle their international disputes by peaceful means. They emphasize the importance of the inalienable right of all states to choose their policy path and alliances.

The parties realize that the issue of visa liberalization dialogue between the Republic of Armenia and the EU is of great importance.

The parties consider the European Political Community a helpful format for the European Union and its partners. Armenia highly appreciates the Czech presidency hosting the inaugural summit of the CIS in the Council of the EU.

The parties attach particular importance to activating the activities of the Armenian-Czech intergovernmental commission to strengthen the mutually beneficial economic, financial, and scientific ties between the two countries.

The parties express their support for the further development of cooperation and periodic exchanges between the two countries' parliaments, including through the respective friendship groups.

The parties attach particular importance to the activation of decentralized cooperation and partnership between the local authorities of the two countries as an additional incentive for the development of bilateral relations.

To this end, the Parties expressed their determination to make every effort in the areas specified in this Declaration.
