US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will join the discussions on the last day of negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington. "Voice of America" reports this by citing US State Department sources.
It is noted that the working schedule of the US Secretary of State also includes a meeting with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeihun Bayramov, within the framework of the final session of the bilateral peace negotiations.
The tripartite meeting of the US Secretary of State, the foreign ministers of Armenia, and Azerbaijan will occur at the George Shultz Foreign Affairs Training Center.
Anthony Blinken met with the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan on the first day of negotiations, May 1. First, he had separate meetings with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov; and then Blinken-Mirzoyan-Bayramov tripartite meeting took place.
