"The recognition of the territorial integrity of Armenia and Azerbaijan is of fundamental importance," Prime Minister of the Czech Republic

"The Czech Republic can and will support peace initiatives and efforts that will bring stability to the region," Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala stated during a joint press conference with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
He noted that recognizing Armenia and Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty is essential, "A step has been taken here in Prague. It can be considered a historical milestone in the relations between the two countries."
He said it would not have contributed to the situation if he had assessed "who is violating what." According to Fiala, their goal is to achieve stability and lasting peace in the region, "This means guaranteeing the rights of Armenia and Armenians."
