The President of the Republic Vahagn khachaturyan's address on the occasion of Labor Day states:
"Dear citizens of the Republic of Armenia,
Happy Labor Day to all! In recent years, our statehood faced severe trials and challenges: war, the coronavirus epidemic, and drastic developments in social and political life, which once again proved that all problems could be solved due to united, tireless, and dedicated work.
Work is the primary guarantee of the well-being and development of the individual, the citizen, and the state. Successful states and societies have managed to achieve such harmony when citizens with the right to work have the opportunity to work, make and create with dignity.
Dear compatriots,
Our people have proven for centuries that they can become presentable and recognizable to the world with their work and creative mind. Our independent statehood is also the result of work in its way.
Today, our country's development agenda is formed by the joint, united work of our citizens of Armenia. As a result of that work, we will build our dream homeland, an innovative, developed, democratic and forward-looking Republic of Armenia.
