The head of the General Directorate considered the presence of EU observers a restraining factor

Minister of Foreign Affairs of France Catherine Colonna met with Edward Asryan, Chief of the RA Armed Forces General Staff, in Jermuk.

The head of the General Assembly highly appreciated the work of EU observers in Armenia, "With this work, the armed forces of Azerbaijan feel more restrained. So the work along the borders of Armenia is excellent."

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of France emphasized that the cooperation between Armenia and the EU observation mission is very positive, "It allows us to obtain information from the ground, which is useful for the EU member states, thanks to the observation work. This is an observation mission, not an armed mission, the goal is to monitor the situation, but in any case, this presence allows easing the tension," the minister said.
