Paris hopes that the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan will hold talks at the meeting of the European Political Community to be held in Chisinau on June 1.
During the briefing held in Yerevan, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna said, "There is a clear position, which is also the decision of the International Court of Justice, but there are also negotiations in which Armenia and Azerbaijan are involved. We have yet to talk about new bilateral or trilateral meetings with more participants. Still, building on what was achieved in Prague and finding specific points of agreement during the upcoming meetings is essential.
It may be possible to have a high-level dialogue during the Chisinau meeting, as happened in Prague on October 6. The process is ongoing, and now, the international community can say what the principles are, what the law is, and support the mature process that exists now."
