The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation is in Yerevan.; a private conversation with Ararat Mirzoyan took place

On April 25, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister M. Galuzin had a private conversation with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararart Mirzoyan in Yerevan.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the focus was on the exchange of opinions on issues of bilateral relations and ensuring regional security.

The parties noted the positive dynamics of the Armenian-Russian alliance interaction. The progressive development of higher-level dialogue and the expansion of cooperation between profile departments, parliamentary, interregional contacts, and cultural ties were emphasized. A record dynamic of trade and economic relations was registered. There is satisfaction with the degree of coordination between Russia and Armenia in international organizations.

The current situation in the region was discussed in detail, first of all, in the context of the complexities of the situation in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping troops in Nagorno-Karabakh, which cause serious concern. The necessity of intensifying the efforts of the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement, by all means, was noted, according to the agreements of the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan on November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, November 26, and October 31, 2022.

I believe an agreement was reached to continue contact.

Galuzin had consultations in Yerevan with RA Deputy Foreign Ministers V. Gevorgyan and M. Safaryan.
